Dear Nadine,

On behalf of the Nurses Week Committee, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your
very generous donation.

The entire week provided the Nurses at CHEO an opportunity to celebrate and take pride in their
profession. Nurses Week was a tremendous success, with a full program of guest speakers and events.

Once again, thank you so much for your support and contribution to Nursing at CHEO.

Warmest regards,

Pat Elliott-Miller

Dear Mrs. Campbell,

On behalf of the Nursing Weeek Work Group of The Ottawa Hospital/L’Hopital d’Ottawa (TOH) we would
like to thank you for your recent contribution. Your donation of a gift basket for Nursing Week 2010 is greatly
appreciated. All of the contributions were distributed at the Nursing Week Luncheon, which was the
culmination of the TOH Nursing Week events. I have attached, for your information a copy of Nursing Week
Newsletter that highlights all of our generous sponsors on page 8.

Thank you once again for your generous support.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Epilepsy Ottawa-Carleton I would like to thank you for your
generous donation of the wonderful gift basket to support our volunteer appreciation night this past
Monday. Please visit our website to see photos from this wonderful event:

Your thoughtful gift for this worthy cause allowed us to celebrate a long-time EOC volunteer in style!
Dorothy was delighted with her basket. This type of community donation is crucial to our programming
success and is greatly appreciated by the EOC Board, staff, and volunteers and of course, our members.

During 2010 EOC is working to enhance our Epilepsy awareness activities and services. We will be
working on developing our educational outreach in the rural communities and continuing to provide support
services and information/referral to all those in our community who are impacted by Epilepsy.

We will be recognizing your contribution in our next newsletter, Brainwaves, and we will also add a link to
your business on our website If you do not wish to be recognized on
the website Thank You page please email us at

Once again, please accept our sincere thanks for your contribution. We could not provide our community
services, without your support.

We (Combat Sports) hired Kit and Kaboodles located conveniently in Manotick to make our office
Christmas party gift baskets in December 2009, and they were a HUGE hit! Nadine and her team were
very accommodating and really put their heart into our baskets, by asking details about each employee
and customizing each basket to something that they liked. We found that this extra step and interest in
our satisfaction was really a nice personal touch and showed in each of the baskets. As a company we
had not done something like this before and I can tell you the entire staff really felt touched that we went
to the trouble of getting them each something so unique and special as a thank you. They really felt
appreciated and from a business bottom line point of view, this really was worth every penny (which by
the way was exceptionally reasonable).

I wanted to take the time to thank Kit and Kaboodles for their generous donation of gift baskets to our
organization (Salvation Army, Ottawa Grace Manor - Long Term Care Facility). It is these types of donations
that really help our organization continue to support the community and we appreciate Kit and Kaboodle
recognition of this. We were able to raffle off these baskets to raise much needed funds and it was a huge
success, since the baskets were so beautiful. Thank you for the continued support and we look forward to
the next “gift” basket!
